Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America is seeking a Mechatronics Technician to maintain and test material handling equipment in the Innovation Center in Bolingbrook, IL. You will support tours, run customer tests, and provide technical information on automated systems.

Responsibilities include executing projects with structures, conveyors, and controls, collaborating with the team, and delivering subsystems on time and within budget. Up to 20% travel across North America is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering (Technology), Electrical Engineering (Technology), Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in a mechatronics technician role, preferably with conveyor systems or material handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment in the Innovation Center (Bolingbrook, IL) and ensure it is presentable for tours.
• Facilitate customer product tests on equipment in the Innovation Center.
• Provide technical and operational information on systems in the Innovation Center.
• Execute material handling equipment projects involving structures, conveyors, machinery, and controls.
• Collaborate with execution and development teams to implement automated systems.
• Deliver subsystems on time, within budget, and tested to specifications.
• Travel up to 20% to assist at various North American sites.
