Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Innovation Attorney in New York City to advise lawyers, matter teams, clients, and practice groups on integrating innovative legal technologies with workflows to drive value. The role serves as a conduit between lawyers and the Technology Department to ensure effective use of technology systems.

Responsibilities include partnering with practice groups, configuring technologies, and identifying opportunities to enhance solutions while aligning working hours to support

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent and bar admission in relevant state.
• Minimum two years of experience as practicing lawyer or legal operations; transactional experience preferred.
• Proficiency with technology, legal technology, and AI.
• Experience in strategic legal technology projects preferred.
• Knowledge of transactional legal matter lifecycle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with practice groups to optimize legal service delivery through technology.
• Replicate practice group successes by applying learned lessons across teams.
• Configure legal technologies to meet practice group needs.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing technology solutions.
• Serve as a liaison for clients on AI projects and workflows.
• Implement outreach initiatives to increase lawyer engagement with technology.
• Collaborate on projects with various firm teams.
• Stay informed on legal industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Communicate with vendors to exchange information on products and services.
• Protect and maintain sensitive information.
