Berry Springs Lodge in Sevierville, TN is seeking a part-time Innkeeper with a housekeeping focus to keep rooms and shared areas clean, comfortable, and guest-ready.

You will complete room cleanings on schedule, maintain a safe workspace, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth within the property team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift, bend, and move items safely.
• Basic familiarity with housekeeping documentation practices.
• Strong time management to complete tasks within shift.
• Reliable, respectful communication with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and designated guest areas using provided materials and cleaning solutions.
• Make beds, empty wastebaskets, dust surfaces, and vacuum floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including replenishing supplies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, patios, and other assigned surfaces to standard.
• Replenish and restock housekeeping cart/closet for next shift.
• Document, secure, and turn in lost and found items per policy.
• Follow safety procedures while bending, lifting, and using cleaning equipment.
• Ensure rooms are completed and signed off within the allotted time frame.
• Maintain neat, organized housekeeping area and store supplies properly.
• Support a positive guest experience by communicating needs to the team.

About the Role

Berry Springs Lodge is seeking a part-time Innkeeper with a housekeeping focus to help deliver a consistently great guest experience. In a small property environment, you’ll support the guest experience by keeping rooms and shared areas clean, comfortable, and ready for arrival.

Success in this role means completing room cleanings and related tasks accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and organized workspace, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and designated guest areas using the provided materials and cleaning solutions.
• Make beds, empty wastebaskets, dust surfaces, and vacuum floors to maintain a polished appearance.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including replenishing supplies as needed.
• Clean windows, mirrors, patios, and other assigned surfaces to ensure a consistent standard.
• Replenish and restock the housekeeping cart/closet at the end of each shift so supplies are ready for the next team.
• Document, secure, and turn in lost and found items in accordance with company policy.
• Follow safety procedures while bending, lifting, and using cleaning equipment to prevent injury and maintain compliance.
• Ensure rooms are completed and signed off within the appropriate time frame.
• Maintain a neat, organized housekeeping area and keep cleaning tools and supplies properly stored.
• Support a positive guest experience by maintaining cleanliness standards and communicating needs to the team as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping and/or cleaning experience preferred (typically 1+ year).
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
• Comfort working with cleaning products and following safety procedures.
• Ability to lift, bend, and move items safely as needed for room and supply tasks.
• Basic familiarity with housekeeping documentation practices (e.g., tracking lost and found per policy).
• Strong time management skills with the ability to complete assigned tasks within scheduled time frames.
• Reliable, respectful, and inclusive communication with guests and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, small-property setting.
