Job summary

Berry Springs Lodge in Sevierville seeks a cooking-focused Innkeeper to lead our breakfast service for guests at our 13-room property. This role combines cooking with small-team coordination and light housekeeping tasks to ensure mornings start smoothly and guests are well cared for.

You’ll follow established recipes and sanitation standards, plate attractively, and communicate with the serving innkeeper to maintain a seamless service flow. Early shifts and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking breakfast for guests or small groups.
• Ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures.
• Willingness to assist housekeeping and other innkeeper duties.
• Strong communication with a small team.
• Must be able to work early mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow Berry Springs Lodge recipes, food handling procedures, and cleaning standards.
• Plate and present breakfast items according to lodge expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen throughout the shift.
• Communicate with the serving innkeeper about timing and guest needs.
• Support guest room readiness by helping with room cleaning as needed.
• Handle laundry tasks and restock supplies as required.
• Report maintenance issues and assist with guest room preparation.
• Coordinate tasks with the team to ensure smooth transitions after breakfast.
• Follow sanitation, storage, and kitchen organization procedures.

About the Role

Berry Springs Lodge is seeking a cooking-focused Innkeeper to lead our breakfast service for guests at our 13-room property in Sevierville. Breakfast cooking is the primary focus of this role, and you’ll work as part of a small team to help mornings run smoothly and professionally.

Success looks like consistently preparing and plating breakfast on time, keeping the kitchen clean and organized, and communicating clearly with the person serving guests. Because we’re a small property, you’ll also support housekeeping, laundry, and other innkeeper tasks as needed to prepare rooms for arriving guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast consistently and on time for multiple guests.
• Follow Berry Springs Lodge recipes, food handling procedures, and cleaning standards.

• Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends (scheduling may vary with occupancy).
• Ability to follow recipes and established procedures consistently.
