Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking an Assembly II to perform in-line assembly tasks and maintain production rates that keep extrusion running smoothly. You will follow BOM and specs, package WIP and finished goods, and complete quality checks with supervision as needed.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, basic reading and math, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while adhering to safety rules. Prior plastic manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Basic reading and math skills; ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Meet all production rate requirements of the in-line kitting cells.
• Utilize the in-line assembly equipment (scales, strappers, wrappers, labelers).
• Ensure 100% BOM and Spec compliance for SKU produced.
• Create packaging to stated specs for WIP and finished goods.
• Perform all critical quality checks in a timely manner.
• Complete paperwork for quality checks as necessary.
• Inform Supervisor of safety or quality concerns.
• Minimize scrap generation.
• Notify Supervisors of equipment or product concerns to reduce downtime and quality issues.
• Report maintenance or troubleshooting problems to supervisor.
• Complete any other duties assigned by supervisor/management.
