Qualifications

• Ability to work 28 days onboard and 28 days off schedule.
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned Vessel River Port.
• Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe loading and unloading of cargo.
• Inspect and correct any conditions affecting safety.
• Handle rigging during barge tow building.
• Perform basic vessel maintenance such as painting and cleaning.
