Job summary

TekniPlex is seeking an Ink Attendant for the 3rd shift (10:45pm–7:00am) to maintain inks, adhesives, primers and lacquers for the press department. You will load materials, manage inventory, and ensure waste disposal follows safety rules.

The role requires TABE, IVO and JSA/GMP training, strong math skills, and familiarity with MSDS and PPE. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and working around machinery; safety is paramount.

Qualifications

  • TABE (Reading and Math) test must be successfully completed.
  • IV0 certification training (Industrial Vehicle Operator) completed.
  • JSA reading completed (Job Safety and Health Analysis).
  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) completed.
  • Mathematical skills required.
  • Knowledge of MSDS and PPE.
  • Knowledge of Ink Rooms at the Liberty Facility.

Responsibilities

  • Make inks, adhesives, primers, and lacquers required to run machines.
  • Use PC to charge materials to machines.
  • Return unneeded material to inventory.
  • Identify hazardous waste and dispose properly in designated containers.
  • Manage waste or waste containers in satellite areas.
  • Label containers with hazard information.
  • Inspect satellite areas for proper waste container condition.
  • Store hazardous waste in correct location at designated times per RCRA.

Ink Attendant is responsible for maintaining inks, adhesives, primers and lacquers for the press department.

Shift Hours: 3rd/10:45pm - 7:00am

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Make needed inks; adhesives; primers and lacquers required to run machines.
  • Use PC to charge material to machines.
  • Return unneeded material to inventory.
  • Identify hazardous waste and dispose in correct hazardous waste containers.
  • Manage waste or waste containers in satellite areas.
  • Label containers with an indication of the hazard(s) in the contents.
  • Inspect satellite areas to ensure good condition of waste containers.
  • Place hazardous waste in the correct storage location at the designated time according to RCRA regulations.
  • The Company maintains the right to revise and/or add duties in response to business requirements.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of TABE (Reading and Math) test.
  • Successful Completion of IVO certification training. (Industrial Vehicle Operator )
  • Successful Completion of JSA reading. (Job Safety and Health Analysis)
  • Successful Completion of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of MSDS and P.P.E.
  • Knowledge of Ink Rooms at the Liberty Facility
