Flint Group in Florence, KY is seeking an Ink Technician to safely prepare and deliver press-ready inks for production. You will ensure color accuracy, assist presses with adjustments, and maintain thorough production records.

Qualifications

• Safety policies must be followed and PPE used as required.
• Quality checks including color control with X-Rite or similar equipment.
• Maintain accurate production, quality and downtime records.
• Assist with job scheduling and ink estimations for upcoming production.
• Manage ink inventory levels and minimize waste.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies, participate in safety training, and properly use PPE
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace using Lean and 5S principles
• Prepare, weigh, blend, and deliver press-ready inks to support production schedules
• Perform quality checks, including color control using X-Rite or similar equipment
• Support press operations with ink adjustments and troubleshooting as needed
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records
• Assist with job scheduling and ink estimations for upcoming production
• Manage ink inventory levels, ensuring proper stock and minimizing excess
• Follow and support work-off ink processes to reduce waste
