Flint Group in Alabama is seeking an Ink Technician to safely prepare and support ink production for our customers. You will weigh, blend, and deliver press-ready inks while ensuring color accuracy and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in printing, ink manufacturing, or related production preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and color accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.
• Maintain a clean workspace using Lean/5S.
• Prepare, weigh, blend, and deliver press-ready inks.
• Perform color control checks using X-Rite or similar equipment.
• Support press operations with ink adjustments.
• Maintain production, quality, and downtime records.
• Assist with ink scheduling and estimations for upcoming production.
• Manage ink inventory and minimize waste.
• Follow work-off ink processes to reduce waste.
