Job summary

INX International Ink Co. in Dunkirk, NY is seeking a Mill/Mixer Operator to manufacture high-quality ink. You will operate a mill, ensure proper mill settings, and participate in TPM activities to keep our production moving smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months of related experience, with strong math, basic computer skills, and reliable attendance. Training will be provided, and the position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months of related work experience.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail and reliability to work assigned shift.
• Overtime availability.
• Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background is a plus.
• Able to perform with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Run batches of ink at proper mill settings.
• Package finished product in various containers and label.
• Clean and maintain machines per TPM standards.
• Learn and apply TPM knowledge daily.
• Weigh-up batches and follow process orders; shift between auto and manual steps.
• Discharge pigment and operate mixer safely; follow SOPs.
• Operate Hockmeyer mill to maintain OEE standards.
• Create and maintain a database of formulas including processing times.
• Canning operations.
• Operate press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.
• Act as a QC liaison; provide ink samples and adjustments; record data.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with repacks.
