Job summary

Sun Chemical in Plant City, FL is seeking an Ink Inplant Tech II for the third shift (10:00 pm - 6:00 am). The role focuses on color matching, formulation, and small batch blending on-site at the customer location.

You will produce and QC inks to meet specifications, maintain detailed records, and provide strong press-side technical service with clear reporting. A high school diploma, 3+ years of experience, and lifting capability are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook and dispensing/color-match software.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
• 3+ years industry experience.
• Customer-facing role with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and quality control inks to meet customer specs.
• Perform color matching and formulation.
• Maintain production and QC records.
• Coordinate with customer’s schedule.
• Identify and execute rework opportunities from batch tickets.
• Provide press-side technical service and detailed reports.
• Maintain monthly/weekly reports to CTS and Sales.
• Ensure housekeeping and safe operations.
• Lift up to 50 lb; move 500 lb drums as required.
