Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking an Injury Prevention Professional to support client sites in Lewiston and Bath, Maine. The role focuses on injury prevention, employee wellness, conditioning, and education at a part-time, on-site capacity.

The position offers an 8-hour-per-week schedule with on-call hours in Bath, Maine. Ideal candidates hold a related degree, CPR/First Aid certifications, and have experience in clinical or corporate wellness settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or related field.
• Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from recognized bodies.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license to travel to client locations.
• Experience in biomechanics and occupational safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts injury prevention programs, education, and training.
• Develops exercise programs for injury prevention and conditioning.
• Collects and documents program data to support ROI analysis.
• Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs.
• Supports healthcare teams with job function assessment and incident investigation.
