Job summary

SCT seeks an experienced Injury Prevention Specialist to support Army National Guard H2F performance services in Sparta, Wisconsin. You will design and coordinate injury prevention efforts, assess risk factors, and develop reconditioning programs for Soldiers returning from injury.

You will coach unit personnel, maintain training materials, and stay current with Army H2F standards and regulations to strengthen readiness and safety across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Athletic Training/Physical Therapy/Kinesiology preferred.
• Minimum of three years of postgraduate experience in injury risk assessments and performance services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement injury prevention assessments and reconditioning programs for Soldiers with varying injury risk.
• Identify risk factors, assess movement patterns, and support safe training practices.
• Develop and maintain a resources database with assessments and rehabilitation guides.
• Coach Soldiers in evidence-based reconditioning and recovery techniques.
• Coordinate with H2F team and medical personnel to oversee reconditioning programs.
• Mentor H2F-Integrators and medical staff to improve injury risk assessment and readiness.
