Base pay range

$27.00/hr - $41.00/hr

Description

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Highlands Ranch Hosp, US:CO:Highlands Ranch

Department: HRH Trauma Serv

FTE: Part Time, 0.5, 40.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary

Designs, develops, and delivers population-specific injury prevention programs and resources.

Responsibilities

Develops program content based research ad analysis of local and regional injury data and community needs.

Develops and implements marketing campaigns to promote awareness of programs and resources.

Provides injury prevention education and resources to staff, patients, families, schools and community groups, including age specific injury prevention.

Serves as an injury prevention resource and consultant to staff, physicians, community agencies, and other injury prevention professionals. May collaborate on procuring funding and resources that support program initiatives. May collaborate on the design and implementation of research projects.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Community Health, Public Health or related field. Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant certification as determined at position level. Valid state driver's license and insurance required. Minimum Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
