Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking an Injury Prevention Professional to join the team at our corporate client site in Anna, Ohio. This on-call/substitute opportunity offers flexible scheduling to support workplace injury prevention programs.

You will lead injury prevention activities, develop conditioning programs, educate staff, and assist healthcare teams with assessments and incident investigations. A Bachelor's in a related field and CPR/First Aid are required, Personal Training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required prior to start date.
• Personal Training certification is a plus.
• 2-3 years of corporate health/fitness experience preferred.

About the role

HealthFitness is seeking a passionate and skilled Injury Prevention Professional to join the team at our corporate client site in Anna, Ohio.

This is an on-call/substitute opportunity , ideal for professionals seeking a flexible schedule. In this role, you’ll provide coverage on an as-needed basis, stepping in to support employees and workplace injury prevention programs when regular team members are unavailable.

Supports the creation and implementation of programs focused on the prevention of work injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness.

Key Accountabilities

• Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.
• Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs.
• Collects and document appropriate program data to support the ROI process.
• Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs.
• Supports employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior ro start date.
• Personal Training certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, NETA or NSCA a plus.
• Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing) preferred.
• 2-3 years’ experience in corporate based health and fitness program preferred.
• Understanding of Biomechanics, occupational safety and proficient in exercise prescription preferred.

Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $20 - $24/hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
