Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Injection Well laborer to support maintenance and operations in the Deep Well work area. You will follow detailed instructions, troubleshoot routine issues, and assist with loading materials and checking tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical instructions and safety documents.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and SDS for chemical handling.
• Willingness to operate basic tools and assist with loading and unloading materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and upkeep of the disposal area to keep it clean, safe and organized.
• Load, unload and organize materials and equipment as directed; operate small hand tools as needed.
• Take batch samples from onsite tanks and deliver to the lab for testing.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment under supervisor guidance.
• Report any faulty equipment or unsafe conditions to the supervisor promptly.
