Family Allergy & Asthma is seeking an Injection Room Nurse (LPN/RN) and Front Office Coordinator for our Florence, KY clinic. The role combines direct nursing care with front desk responsibilities in a fast-paced allergy and asthma practice.

The successful candidate will possess an active LPN or RN license in Kentucky and/or Ohio, CPR certification, and 1–2 years of nursing experience. The position requires adherence to HIPAA and clinic policies with a 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (read and write)
• Strong verbal and written communication across staff and patients
• Ability to read and interpret clinical policies and patient care plans

Responsibilities

• Prepare the injection room area each morning
• Administer allergy injections
• Restock supplies and order through approved clinical procedures
• Record daily charges and totals at end of day
• Collect co-pays and issue patient receipts
• Monitor inventory and refrigerate vials; log temperatures
• Ensure consent forms are signed and explain room policies
• Educate patients on first injection policy and HIPAA compliance
• Stay 30 minutes after last injection for safety
• Manage emergency procedures as needed
• Front office: check-in/out, collect co-pays, schedule appointments
• Answer phones and handle end-of-day charge reports
