Job summary

Family Allergy & Asthma in Bardstown, KY is seeking an Injection Room Nurse (LPN/RN) to provide direct patient care within the allergy clinic during standard business hours. You will administer allergy injections, maintain the injection room, stock supplies, log charges and temperatures, and ensure HIPAA compliance while supporting patient safety and comfort.

A current Kentucky LPN or RN license, CPR certification, 1–2 years of nursing experience, and a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN or RN in good standing in Kentucky.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the injection room area each morning.
• Administer allergy injections.
• Re-stock area and order supplies.
• Complete daily log of charges and patient receipts.
• Collect co-pays and issue receipts.
• Log refrigerator temperatures and monitor vials.
• Explain room policies to new patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Stay 30 minutes after last injection before leaving.
