Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is hiring a Production Technician in Michigan to operate high-volume injection molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will monitor, adjust settings, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance to meet quality specs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician in high-volume production.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, up to 70 lbs with team lift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of injection molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility.
• Monitor settings (heat, water cooling, hydraulic pressure) to ensure product quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Perform quality checks for bottle weights and dimensions to meet specs.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability and scrap reduction.
