You will support tooling, maintenance, and process development, troubleshoot issues, and train staff with emphasis on quality and documentation.

Qualifications

Experience in injection molding and plastics manufacturing.
Knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, processes, and automation.
Experience developing and optimizing injection molding processes and parameters.
Experience with industrial robots including six-axis and linear systems.
Troubleshooting mechanical, process, tooling, and equipment issues.
Knowledge of quality requirements for automotive interior components preferred.
Good computer skills and ability to maintain production documentation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow established procedures and safety requirements.
Reliable and consistent attendance with a positive professional attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate injection molding machines, molds, robots, and material handling systems.
Develop, set, monitor, and optimize machine and process parameters, including temperature, pressure, injection, and cycle times.
Install and remove injection molds using industrial cranes in accordance with safety procedures.
Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, sampling, and process changes.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine, tooling, and process issues to maximize machine uptime.
Perform minor mold/tool repairs, adjustments, polishing, and cleaning as needed.
Develop and optimize robot and automation processes, including six-axis and linear systems.
Conduct functional testing of machines, tools, handling equipment, and related systems.
Monitor process parameters and implement corrective actions when required.
Create and maintain production and process documentation.
Support the development of injection molding processes from initial tooling through series production.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, housekeeping, and production standards.
Participate in production meetings and provide technical input on process and equipment issues.
Train employees on applicable processes, equipment, and work instructions.
Operate and monitor material distribution systems.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
