Job summary

AMMEGA seeks a production professional to uphold safety and quality standards in the injection molding environment. You will train mold technicians, manage SMED utilization, and keep production and visual management boards current to drive efficiency.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to handle a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision while communicating effectively across shifts and departments.

• Ensure safety procedures are followed and help improve the safety program.
• Ensure quality procedures are followed and help improve the quality program.
• Follow all procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized working environment (5S).
• Complete visual inspections on products during the shift.
• Train and coach mold techs to ensure SMED is utilized.
• Schedule and maintain production and visual management boards for molding.
• Address molding barriers promptly and coordinate with other departments.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve our safety program.
• Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve our quality program.
• Follows all procedures & work instructions.
• Works to maintain a clean & organized working environment (5s).
• Completes visual inspection on products through the shift.
• Trains, coaches, and support the mold techs to ensure SMED is being utilized.
• Schedule and maintain production and visual management boards for the molding department.
• Address molding barriers promptly.
• Works directly with other departments within the plant.
• Encourages continuous improvement of culture.
• Identify and address non-conforming products.
• Responsible for clear and consistent communication between shifts
• Assisting in modification of existing procedures
• Creation of new standardized work procedures
• Encourages and promotes a positive work environment.
• Performs any other tasks required to ensure the Company goals are met as directed.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the injection molding field
