Direct Hire opportunity in Knoxville, TN! Seeking a qualified individual to keep production running smoothly by maintaining, repairing, and preparing plastic injection molds and machines.

Skills Needed:

• Electrical schooling/training experience preferred
• Experience working in a molding environment preferred
• Plastic processing skills experience preferred
• Basic math skills
• The ability to use basic measurement tools
• Hands on experience with basic machining tools
• The ability to perform/repair electric issues with molds, machines, and facility.
• Set-up/troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance experience in a machine-based manufacturing environment

Pay: $21.00 – $27.00/hour (based on experience)

salary: $44,000 - $56,000 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setting up tooling and equipment and optimizing equipment uptime, in the Molding Department.
• Respond rapidly to situations to meet production plans to service the requirements of our customers.
• Complete mold set ups in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with all scheduled production requirements
• Perform material handling duties (maintaining material in hoppers, material/color changes, mixing dye, material inventory) as required
