The Process Technician sets up, monitors, and adjusts machine controls according to established standards to sustain cycle times, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and product quality throughout production runs. Operating on a 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM night shift, this high-level technical role pays $30–$36/hr and requires expertise in thin-wall injection molding and machine tonnage requirements. The candidate must be capable of taking an unfamiliar mold, launching it, and developing the entire molding process from scratch. Responsibilities include authorizing full production following first-piece approvals, performing mold and material changes, executing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting presses, screw assemblies, and auxiliary equipment. Additionally, the role manages real-time tracking in IQMS—including downtime coding, scrap data entry, and cycle counts—while ensuring compliance with safety protocols, 6S standards, and quality inspection logs.
