Job summary

ElringKlinger South Carolina, LLC in Easley, SC is seeking a manufacturing associate to count good parts, rejected parts and parts needing rework, report downtime, insert and remove materials in the ERP system, and apply the 5S methodology at the workstation.

You will perform cleaning and inspection plans, execute machining steps per the work plan, pack and label produced parts, carry out defined quality checks, start/restart systems, and escalate technical problems according to the escalation

Responsibilities

• Counting good parts, rejected parts and parts that require reworking
• Identifying and reporting any machine downtime
• Inserting material into/removing them from the systems
• Ensuring the use of the 5S methodology at the workstation
• Working through cleaning and inspection plans
• Performing the machining steps set out in the work plan
• Confirming the good parts, rejected parts and parts that require reworking, the machining time and downtime and the reasons for any deviations in the defined ERP system
• Executing the material request and the material consumption posting in the defined ERP system
• Packing and labeling produced parts as per the defined specifications
• Carrying out defined quality checks
• Using individual systems and/or implementing multi-system operation
• Starting/restarting systems as per the documentation or specifications
• Fixing temporary machine interruptions that fall within the defined responsibility
• Escalating technical problems in line with the defined escalation matrix
• Carrying out set-up process
