Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in injection molding processing.
• Experience with mold setup, startup, and related equipment (robots, automation, EOAT).
• Technical knowledge of common injection molding issues related to mold, material, machine, or process.
• Basic MS Office skills for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup and shutdown of production molds and complete mold change-overs.
• Safely operate forklift and overhead cranes for handling molds.
• Address daily production issues and support quality/engineering to meet specs.
• Document process changes and maintain 6S principles including SMED.
• Assist with EOAT troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.

Please note our current openings are for 2nd Shift (2 pm - 10 pm) and 3rd Shift (10 pm - 6 am).The role holder reports directly to the Sr. Manufacturing Process Manager and is responsible for performing setup of injection molding molds including all auxiliary equipment, EOATs, starting the molds, addressing daily production-related issues, train into starting new molds, in-mold mold maintenance and documentation. Position is also responsible to ensure machines, molds, auxiliary equipment and associated automation operates efficiently.ResponsibilitiesPerform startup and shutdown of production molds as required, and perform and confirm completion of mold change-overs (mold, aux. equip., EOAT, etc.).Safely operate forklift and overhead cranes for handling molds.Ensure that the correct mold and materials are being used.Perform minor in-press mold cleaning as needed.Ensure processes run consistently and provide production support as needed.Ensure functional and cosmetic product specifications are met by working with quality and engineering.Log and communicate any process changes to ensure process parameters are up to dateMaintain and follow 6S Principles including SMED.Perform minor EOAT troubleshooting/repair activities.QualificationsAbility to work 12-Hour Shift with rotating weeks of M/TU/SAT/SUN and W/TH/F.High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 3+ years in injection molding processing.Experience with setup and startup of molds and other related equipment as it pertains to injection molding (robots, automation, auxiliary equipment, etc.).Technical knowledge of common injection molding issues as they may be related to mold, material, machine, and/or process issues.EOAT robot programming and setup.Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, and fluid powerBasic operating knowledge of computer programs in Microsoft including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Excellent listening skills and ability to follow instructions.
