Job summary

Seaway Plastics in Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking a Supervisor-Injection Molding for the graveyard shift (Sun–Thu, 11:00pm–7:30am). Lead a molding team, ensure safe operations, meet on-time delivery, and optimize processes for quality output.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in injection molding with strong troubleshooting, GMP experience, and a proven ability to coach staff and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in processing and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of molding operations.
• Leads and decides when appropriate.
• Experience with GMP, quality initiatives and programs.
• Encourages and builds a team oriented environment.
• Injection Molding processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Support and develop employees including counseling and motivation.
• Manage employee schedules, sick/vacation time and job assignments.
• Recognize and correct production inefficiencies.
• Follow schedule to meet On Time Delivery expectations.
• Ensure mold protection settings are at the lowest pressure while running.
• Maintain mold parting line free of debris by employees.
• Support IQMS activities.
• Support ISO standards.
• Actively seek system/process improvements.
• Demonstrate good communication skills to all levels of employees.
• Recognize, report, and correct safety issues.
