Job summary

Entegris, Inc. is seeking a Setup Technician Apprentice for our Chaska, MN site.

You will prepare, set up, and optimize injection molding equipment to ensure safe, efficient production, install molds, adjust processing parameters, perform startups, and verify readiness according to procedures and quality standards. You'll work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime, support continuous improvement, and maintain product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of mechanical or injection molding setup experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail for safety and quality.
• Competence in basic math and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor molded products for visual and dimensional conformity and take corrective action.
• Ensure consistent product quality by adhering to specifications and ISO-compliant processes.
• Support SQCD goals by reducing waste and improving throughput.
• Participate in 6S, Kaizen and other problem-solving initiatives.
• Set up injection molding presses per schedules and prepare auxiliary equipment.
• Remove molds after production and store equipment properly.
• Complete setup documentation with accuracy and detail.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety procedures.
• Engage in daily management routines to strengthen performance.
• Troubleshoot setup-related equipment to minimize downtime.
