OptiMIM, a Form Technologies Company, seeks a Set-Up Technician in Portland, OR to perform tooling set-ups, install injection molds, and prepare machines for molding operations. You will assist with tooling changes and support production quality and productivity on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate has experience with molding equipment, basic computer skills, and good teamwork and communication. Schedule Tue–Sat, 7:00 am–3:30 pm with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with injection molding equipment preferred.
• Machining or tooling experience preferred.
• Basic to moderate computer/PC skills (MS Office).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and safety awareness in English.
• Able to stand and walk production floor; lift up to 30 pounds.
• Manufacturing facility environment; non-smoking.

Responsabilités

• Perform equipment set ups including installing injection molds and setup processes.
• Adjust machine parameters to correct defects observed during production.
• Troubleshoot and work with process engineering to improve processes and cycle times.
• Collect and enter data to support procedures.
• Handle robot programming and optimization.
• Handle barrel cleaning and grinder cleaning.
