Job summary

Nordson EFD is seeking an entry-level Level 1 Process Technician to learn injection molding operations through on-the-job mentorship and formal training. This position supports production by assisting with mold setups, equipment checks, material changes, and troubleshooting under supervision.

Shift: 7pm - 3:30am, Monday-Friday. You will shadow senior technicians, attend training (e.g., Routsis Injection Molding Certification), perform inspections, document data, and contribute ideas to improve

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of molding/ die setter experience or 1+ years of press attendant experience within Nordson EFD’s injection molding department.
• Able to read and write in English and follow simple work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set molds in presses and run production using established processes.
• Assist with mold setups, start-ups, and material changes under supervision.
• Monitor molding machines for stability and quality.
• Support troubleshooting to correct minor defects or process deviations.
• Perform in-process quality checks and basic inspections.
• Record data and complete required documentation.
• Follow SOPs, safety rules, and 6S standards.
