Job summary

Guided Search Partners is seeking an Injection Molding Process Technician to support a fast-paced plastics manufacturing operation. You will help ensure blow molding equipment runs safely and efficiently, support mold changes and machine startups, troubleshoot process issues, and contribute to a culture focused on quality and teamwork.

This role requires hands-on experience in injection molding, accumulator-head technology, and the ability to read and follow work instructions.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in plastics manufacturing or blow molding.
• Hands-on injection molding experience, preferably accumulator-head technology.
• Knowledge of blow molding equipment, auxiliary systems, material handling, hydraulics and mechanics.
• Experience with mold/tooling changes, machine adjustments, startups, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read work instructions and quality specs.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and safety.
• Willing to work different shifts, weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve process issues to improve productivity.
• Assist with mold changes, tooling, startups, and material changes.
• Perform first-piece inspections after startups and color changes.
• Collaborate with process engineers and operations to improve processes.
• Ensure safety devices and guarding are functioning; report hazards.
• Monitor resin handling and auxiliary equipment.
• Document results and maintain accurate production records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace.
