Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Plastic Process Technician to support day-to-day injection molding operations, setting up, running, and optimizing plastic molding processes to produce high-quality parts.

You will audit machines, troubleshoot issues, perform mold changeovers, and collaborate with Plastics Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain safety and product quality on the production floor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on plastics processing experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• GED or high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and optimize plastic molding processes.
• Perform mold changeovers and maintain parameters within specs.
• Collaborate with Plastics Engineering, Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues and drive improvements.
