Job summary

Ultradent Products, Inc. is seeking Process Technicians to operate and set up injection molding machines for precision molded plastic parts in Salt Lake City.

The role follows a 5/8 schedule (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) within the United States, with responsibilities covering machine start-up, process monitoring and quality control. Applicants should have 5+ years of injection molding experience, strong math and quality measurement skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in arithmetic and measurements
• Experience diagnosing faults and maintaining process control
• Familiarity with mold tooling and components
• Ability to collaborate with team members
• Previous molding set-up experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of molding processing and plastics characteristics
• Demonstrated problem solving and root/cause analysis skills
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Systematic Molding I – RJG, Paulson, or other accreditation

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine repairs and maintain cycle times and product quality
• Prepare quality and production documentation prior to release to production
• Set up press tonnage and mold protection
• Ensure first piece quality before releasing to production
• Set up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removal
• Start and process molding machines
• Program and operate injection molding machines
• Pull and set injection molds
• Handle and care for materials, molds and tooling
• Maintain positive environment aligned with company goals
