Job summary

Tg Missouri Corporation is seeking an Injection Molding Production Technician to support safe, stable, and efficient molding operations. You will lead mold changes, set up processes, and assist with troubleshooting, validation, and continuous improvement to ensure defect-free products.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Tooling, and Maintenance to reduce variability, shorten cycle times, and lower costs, while maintaining cosmetic, optical, and dimensional quality.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first work environment and lead by example.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Identify unsafe conditions, equipment abnormalities, and potential hazards.
• Communicate safety concerns and support corrective actions.
• Ensure mold changes, machine adjustments, and troubleshooting are done safely.
• Participate in safety meetings, audits, and improvement activities.
• Set up, monitor, and optimize injection molding processes.
• Provide technical guidance during troubleshooting of machines, molds, and tooling.
• Identify and correct molding defects such as short shots, flash, burn marks, and warpage.
• Establish stable processing conditions within approved parameters.
• Monitor temperatures, pressures, injection speeds, cooling times, and cycle times.
• Ensure process parameters are followed and prevent unauthorized adjustments.
• Escalate complex technical issues to Engineering, Quality, Tooling, or Maintenance.
• Support production during startups, shut-downs, material changes, and new launches.
