Job summary

THE PANTHER GROUP is seeking experienced Injection Molding Process Technicians to join our client’s team on 1st and 2nd shifts. This is a hands‑on opportunity for experienced technicians who can independently set up, troubleshoot, and support injection molding production.

You will perform mold changes, monitor cycle times, and adjust processes within established parameters. A high school diploma and 5+ years in injection molding are required, with preferred experience in robotics or automation

Qualifications

Hands-on injection molding processing experience.
5+ years of injection molding experience.
Experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines.
Mold changes and machine setups performed independently.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and respond to production issues.
High school diploma or GED required.
Plastic injection molding experience.
Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift.
Preferred: robotics, automation, or auxiliary equipment experience.
Preferred: medical device or other regulated manufacturing experience.
Preferred: RJG/Master Molder or plastics processing training.
Preferred: experience with manufacturing ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
Perform mold changes and job changeovers independently.
Troubleshoot processing and machine issues.
Make process adjustments within established parameters.
Monitor machine performance, cycle times, and process stability.
Set up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment.
Respond to machine alarms and production issues.
Support robotics and automated manufacturing equipment.
Complete required production and process documentation.
Work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve manufacturing issues.
Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
