Job summary

Mergon Group in Anderson, SC is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician to support safe and efficient operation of our molding processes, focusing on machine set-up, mold changes, troubleshooting and maintaining quality, safety and productivity. You will work with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams to monitor cycle times, resolve defects and carry out routine equipment checks.

Knowledge of molding machines, molds, robots and process controls is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up injection molding machines, molds, robots and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform mold, material and color changeovers.
• Monitor and optimize process performance, quality and cycle times.

• Support process trials, sampling and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate production and process records.
