Job summary

Surestaff, LLC is seeking a Process Technician for the Elgin, IL area on a 12-hour shift (5:00 PM–5:00 AM). The role requires overseeing injection molding operations, supervising setup, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

The candidate will develop procedures, troubleshoot processes, and coordinate daily cell operations to meet production schedules. Requires 3–5 years’ supervision experience in molding environments, an AA degree or technical schooling, and proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical schooling required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience supervising set-up and operation of injection molding machines.
• Experience in team development and leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan production operations and establish priorities for manufacturing products.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure product quality meets specifications.
• Verify machine setup, startup, and conformance of first piece parts before production release.
• Respond to machine alarms and perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and review documentation and procedures for production equipment and processes.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and adherence to safety procedures.
