Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Plastics, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering plus 3–5 years injection molding experience.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processing, tooling, materials, machinery, and quality systems.
• Experience supervising or mentoring process technicians.
• RJG Master Molder certification is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement processes to enhance quality, productivity, and equipment efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to process technicians, operators, and other molding personnel.
• Author and maintain clear, comprehensive process documentation for cross-functional understanding and execution.
• Troubleshoot and develop molding processes independently, including start-up and shutdown of production equipment.
• Collaborate with equipment and material vendors to diagnose and resolve operational challenges.
• Monitor injection mold performance, recommending maintenance or refurbishment based on usage data and performance metrics.
• Interface with customers to resolve technical issues and provide updates on project progress.
• Apply statistical methods and data-driven solutions to meet customer expectations for cost, quality, and delivery.
