Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking an Engineer, Manufacturing (Molding) to lead hands-on injection molding of automotive interior trim parts and consoles. You will provide technical leadership to production teams, focusing on operational excellence, tooling, automation, and process validation.

Ideal candidates will have molding experience with tool design, EOAT, robot programming, and a track record of kaizen-driven enhancements in a high-volume plant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 5 years experience in molding.
• Hands-on mold processing and tooling knowledge.
• Experience with gas-assisted, valve gates and multi-material molding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop molding tool and process for new products.
• Lead design reviews and optimize mold tooling.
• Plan and implement molding automation and EOAT.
• Support trials and process validation.
• Improve safety, quality and productivity in molding operations.
