SUMMARY
The Injection Molding Process Engineer will manage and optimize KMC Controls injection molding processes, ensuring the production of high-quality components.
The Injection Molding Process Engineer will oversee molding machine setup, troubleshooting, process improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or related education or work/field experience.
Relevant certifications in injection molding or quality management (e.g. Six Sigma) is preferred.
Experience with mold design, material selection, and tooling is required.
Must be proficient using CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent), Microsoft Outlook (Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and part prints.
Ability to enter production information using Epicor MES.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one discussion with supervisor and co-workers.
Familiarity with industry-standard software tools such as CAD for mold design and PLC programming.
Strong understanding of injection molding materials, machine parameters, and production techniques.
Ability to use measurement tools and equipment to ensure part quality.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide multi-digit numbers.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
