Job summary

J & O Plastics is seeking full-time Machine Operators for its manufacturing facility in Rittman, OH. You will run plastic injection molding machinery to produce parts while following procedures for routine tasks and safety-focused operations.

We have openings on all three shifts with a brand-new schedule. Benefits include a team environment, reliability, and opportunities to learn across functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Stand on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
• Work in a hot-warehouse environment.
• Experience in production/manufacturing is a plus.
• Open to cross-training in other functions/departments.
• Basic math skills required.
• No experience needed; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a wide range of machinery equipment.
• Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications.
• Assemble boxes for filling with finished product.
• Seal, label and palletize finished product.
• Ability to work with hand tools.
• Maintaining a clean, neat and organized work area.
• Follow regulations, safety guidelines, and company procedures at all times.
