Creative Liquid Coatings, Inc. seeks a Molding Manager to oversee injection molding operations, ensuring production efficiency, part quality, and team performance.

You will manage molding technicians, set process parameters, maintain equipment, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes safety, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality and Engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in injection molding, including process setup and troubleshooting.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of molding machines, tooling, robotics, and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to read technical drawings, process sheets, and material specifications.
• Familiarity with scientific molding techniques (RJG, Decoupled Molding, etc.) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily injection molding operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Develop, document, and optimize molding processes for efficiency, consistency, and reduced scrap.
• Monitor machine performance, cycle times, and process stability; take corrective action when needed.
• Ensure proper setup, startup, shutdown, and changeovers of molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Lead, train, and mentor molding technicians, operators, and setup personnel.
• Assign work, manage staffing levels, and ensure effective shift handoffs.
• Promote a safety-focused, high-performance team culture.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including process sheets, work orders, and quality records.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance on molding machines, molds, and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Tooling teams to ensure mold readiness and proper
• Lead 5S and process improvement initiatives (e.g., cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, automation improvements).
• Participate in or lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Support implementation of lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
