BD is a leading global medical technology company. This role supports the injection molding department on a 6AM-6PM rotating schedule, ensuring high-quality, low-cost molded components for assembly.

You will run presses, inspect parts, and keep documentation up to date while following GMP and safety standards. Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, prior molding experience, and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team, contributing to continuous improvements and

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Previous molding experience preferred.
• Scientific molding technique knowledge preferred.
• General mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the line running.
• Restart press as needed.
• Perform periodical part inspection.
• Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on molding machines; document runs.
• Verify molds run within validated parameters and meet acceptance criteria.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of auxiliary equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Adhere to Quality Specifications and safety/environmental procedures.
• Maintain molding department GMP documentation and traceability.
• Relieve others during breaks and train mold utilities as needed.
• Collaborate across shifts and departments to meet production goals.
• Set and pull molds; work with QC for first-piece approvals.
