SpaceX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer, Injection Molding for Starlink hardware to sustain and ramp plastic injection molding lines for millions of devices. You will own process development, DOE experiments, and high-volume production readiness from line layout to tooling and automation enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop plastic injection molding manufacturing processes for Starlink hardware.
• Develop the injection molding process through parameter optimization, DOE experiments, and trials.
• Implement plug-and-play processes for high volume throughput (1M+ per year).
• Own physical production layout and optimize material flow.
• Identify and implement safety improvement projects.
• Manage tooling, inventory, training, and build process updates per design configuration.
• Drive DFT and DFM with design and test engineers.
• Identify automation opportunities and evaluate ROI.
• Collaborate with in-house resources or vendors to implement solutions.
• Support production line with technical issues on the line.
