Job Juncture seeks a Maintenance Technician (Plastic Injection Molding) in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on machinery reliability in a fast-paced plant, requiring hands-on maintenance and strong safety focus.

The candidate will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime while supporting continuous operations on 3rd shift (11 PM–7 AM). Salary is $32–$33 per hour with benefits such as PTO and 401K matching.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven industrial manufacturing maintenance experience, specifically in mechanical/hydraulic and electrical/electronics.
• High volume manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive industry.
• Ability to use a computer to troubleshoot Keyence SR fixed mount barcode scanners and Keyence IV, IV2, IV3 vision sensors.

Responsibilities

• Identify causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Repair broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and work order service on machines.
• Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Oil and lubricate moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Install replacement parts for machines.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
• Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and otherwise maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• May assist with new equipment being added or old equipment removed.
• Perform building and ground duties, including basic plumbing and snow removal.
• Follow organization standards.
