Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Injection Molding Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift located in Buffalo Grove, IL.

Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Manager, the Injection Molding Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift role involves maintaining and repairing injection molding machines.

Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, Tuesday-Saturday

What a typical day looks like:

• Identify machine malfunctions through troubleshooting and isolate failure mechanisms.
• Repair failure mechanisms in the most cost-effective manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals.
• Calibrate and re-qualify equipment as needed.
• Assist process technicians and engineers with installation and removal of process equipment.
• Record operational data and issues in equipment logs.
• Provide daily updates on equipment functioning.
• Disassemble instruments and inspect components for defects.
• Align, repair, replace, and balance component parts and circuitry.
• Assist in formulating test, calibration, repair, and evaluation plans to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Travel to other Flex sites or vendor locations may be required.
• Perform both software and hardware maintenance as needed.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Associate's Degree in a related field, military technical training, or equivalent education.
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Experience working with injection molding machines is required.

Pay Range (Illinois): $33.06 - $45.46 USD per hour
