Job summary

Trotter Workforce in Souderton, PA seeks an experienced Injection Molding Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair high-speed equipment, support changeovers, and perform TPM tasks on shift-based operations.

The role requires reading schematics, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating across Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to meet uptime targets. 2+ years of experience and strong mechanical/electrical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of injection molding maintenance experience.
• Experience with hot runner systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with high cavity injection molds (100–500 ton presses).
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair injection molding and high speed automated assembly equipment.
• Support machine changeovers and setup activities as needed.
• Perform breakdown and emergency repairs to restore production quickly and safely.
• Execute TPM tasks, inspections, and routine preventive maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety, SQF, GMP, and plant policies.
• Support food safety and quality standards through proper maintenance practices.
• Report safety concerns, near misses, and equipment risks promptly.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to meet uptime and quality targets.
• Participate in Lean, CI, and reliability improvement projects as schedule allows.
• Enter and track maintenance work orders and equipment history in the CMMS.
• Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory for production equipment.
• Support molding operations as workload and schedule require.
• Provide shift coverage, including nights, weekends, and emergency call ins when needed.
• Support training and knowledge sharing with new and existing team members.
• Perform other maintenance related duties as assigned
