Job summary
Thogus Products Company in Avon Lake, Ohio, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to investigate equipment issues and apply strategic troubleshooting to determine root causes. You will deploy preventative maintenance and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on injection molding machines and support equipment, including robotics and automation cells.

Qualifications
- Experience maintaining and repairing complex manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, and fluid power systems.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and preventive maintenance practices.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspects machines and equipment to locate malfunctions.
- Uses Plan-Do-Check-Act methods for troubleshooting on the floor.
- Disassembles and reassembles machines to access problem areas.
- Inspects parts for wear and misalignment; replaces worn components.
- Locates damaged pipes and installs new hydraulic or air lines.
- Starts and tests equipment after repair to minimize downtime.
- Documents findings and repairs; trains others on maintenance tasks.
- Performs routine and preventive maintenance on machines and automation cells.
