Job summary

SMC Ltd. is seeking an Operator to run automated injection molding machines and assemble high-precision plastic parts for medical devices. You will inspect products, report defects, and assist with basic hand-assembly as needed in a clean, climate-controlled production area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in production environment preferred, preferably in a medical or Clean Room Environment.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and basic inspection.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated injection molding machines and assemble parts for medical devices.
• Visually inspect products, report surface and dimension defects, and document results.
• Assist with hand-assembly as needed and support continuous improvement initiatives.

These parts are put into medical and industrial devices that are used by thousands of people around the globe every day.You’ll use precision measuring instruments, visually inspect products and report surface and dimension defects, and sometimes package them using a variety of tools, including robots.
