Job summary

Igloo Products Corp. in Texas is seeking a Technician - Set Up (Injection Mold) to join its manufacturing team. This role focuses on setting up molds and auxiliary equipment for blow molding and injection molding of plastic cooler parts.

You will monitor processes, ensure safety, quality, and accurate timesheets, while collaborating with Methods, Tooling, and Maintenance. The position requires experience with mold changes, forklift operation, and basic math.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Experience: 6 months of mold-changing and/or processing plastics experience; 6 months experience operating a sit-down gas powered forklift.
• English: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Math: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Responsibilities

• Hang molds and set up auxiliary equipment to run in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed and all accidents, hazards, near misses, and property damage are reported in the required time.
• Set molds in a timely manner as recommended by management.
• Operate crane to replace molds.
• Forklift to molds.
• Complete paperwork.
• Primary responsibility for process monitoring and control.
• Promote Safety, Quality and Environmental awareness.
