Job summary

EcoWater Systems LLC in Ripley, MS is seeking a Process Technician to start up presses, set up tooling, and ensure parts meet quality standards. You will troubleshoot machines, perform basic mold maintenance, and train team members to maintain 5S and safe, efficient production.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting and collaboration with the process team to maintain quality, schedule adherence and data accuracy on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Starts up jobs on the press and instructs the operator in the methods and procedures required for quality-oriented operation and production.
• Must be able to work alone and in groups and use time wisely.
• May perform mold installations and setup to assure timely start-ups and production flow.
• When not in the regular role, may relieve the operator for breaks or when the team is shorthanded.
• Maintains equipment in good daily operating condition through minor PM and inspections.
• Assists in developing standard set-up procedures and machine settings for operation.
• Sets up injection molding machines and adjusts for a quality molded product.
• Changes over molds and material hoppers; maintains machine conditions for quality operations.
• Trains other Process Techs and operators as needed.
• Maintains data in process books and completes SPC charts and quality docs.
